You will need 2 teaspoons for this.
Put them between your teeth and cheeks and pull them away.
We want the teeth to be pressed down.
Pictures must be taken straight ahead.
One is to see how the teeth are bitten.
The second picture (on which the teeth are spaced apart) is to see the height of the lower teeth.
Another photo with lateral teeth for the doctor to see how they are in contact.
Try to crop or enlarge the photo during its taking. It will improve the quality of the photo.
When you touch the screen, the camera should catch the focus on the teeth – the photo will be clearer.
We can also enable the flash photo option. Make sure the flash doesn’t create any shadow because of lips or cheeks.
It’s always good to preview the photo we had taken to make sure everything is clear.
Similarly on the other side.
Bend your cheeks with a spoon and take a photo, framing and catching focus, use more light if necessary.
The next photo is a photo of the upper arch so that you can assess the arch symmetry, shape and rotation of the teeth. Tilt your head back so that the teaspoons pull back the cheeks and lips.
Then the lower arch – bow your head and open our mouth wide.
It is also worth taking a photo of the face straight with a smile showing your teeth and without a smile.
Pay attention to frame the picture so as not to make such a large background but focus on the face.
The larger the area around the face, the smaller the image will be readable to a doctor.
The next photo is: 45 degrees of face profile – with a smile and without a smile.
The last photo is a 90 degree face profile. And finally a list of all photos. Check if all the pictures have been taken and if they are legible.
